The BioCosmos Foundation team, led by Dr. Lencer, conducted a courtesy call on Dr. Winfred Namuwonge Kabumbuli, the Dean of Students at Makerere University. During this meeting, the team discussed the establishment of a BioCosmos student club, emphasizing its potential to enhance student engagement and academic collaboration.

Draft Constitution Exposure

Students were introduced to a draft constitution for the BioCosmos student club, which they were encouraged to adapt and to align with Makerere University’s mission and vision. The team provided a detailed explanation of all articles within the draft constitution, ensuring students understood the framework for governance and operations.

Next Steps

Students under the leadership of Dr. Richard Balikoowa were advised to liaise with the office of the Dean to facilitate the establishment of the club, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
